IDEA VIO is an easily understood and user-friendly programm that greatly simplifies the management and monitoring of the myriad technical functions now standard on sophisticated modern yachts.

Thougthful menus guide you through the program, which even enable someonem, who is not computer literate, to use this powerful system at ease.

The Vessel Database
IDEA VIO makes it easy to draw up a database of the yacht's equipment and inventory.

Maintenance management It is easily possible to program maintenance intervals for every component of the technical database. These intervals can be either time or running hour based.

Stock Control and Purchase Orders
VIO makes it easy to maintain the overview over inventory that is expired or below a set stock level and lets you simple generate purchase orders to get back on track.

IDEA VIO's inventory management system enables you to: - quickly find the item you need - create purchase orders manually or automatic by pre-defined stock levels - order using e-mail or fax - print a list of spare parts for a particular device - print a list of equipment on board (e.g. by storage area)

Barcode Inventory Management System
Optionally tracking the inventory can be facilitated even more by using bar-coded labels for all parts, spares and consumables.

The labels are printed from a dedicated label-printer and portable data collection terminals with integrated bar-code scanner are used to:

• check in inventory items (purchase)
• check out inventory items (consume)
• perform an active inventory
• check inventory item data instantly by scanning the label

The data collection terminals (Windows OS) smoothly synchronise with IDEA VIO via docking station.

Step-by-Step Procedure Manuals
IDEA can draw interactive instruction manuals for the yacht's systems and integrate them into the programm. Each procedure consists of a step name, detailed description and a photo or drawing for illustration.

Besides that IDEA VIO contains an editor for drawing up these manuals easy and without much computer knowledge!

Address Database
The address database inside IDEA VIO has all required search and filter functions. Is has direct links to Internet and Email and IDEO VIO allows you to import contacts from Microsoft Outlook (c).

Crew & Guest Database
The Crew & Guest Database Module of IDEA VIO facilitates the management of all personal information such as contacts detail's, licences, salaries or preferences (guests).

Documents (e.g. copies of passports or certificates) and a photo can be inter-linked with each record. It is also possible to program reminders for required trainings, drills, birthdays or anniveraries. A personal training history for each crewmember and a Crew List that will print standardised multi-lingual crew lists of onboard crew and guests for customs are included.

Bookkeeping & Budgeting System
The software for budgeting & bookkeeping allows the crew to very easily keep track of all expenses and allows multiple accounts and graphical analysis.
